ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Frontrunners offer a variety of community-based group learning experiences for youth to come together and engage in fun activities that promote social connections, physical literacy, problem-solving, emotional regulation and leadership skills.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Our free programming supports youth in grades 4 – 6 or between the ages of 8 – 14 years that live within the city of Calgary.
All youth participating in programs must have signed waivers from their caregivers to participate.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

In-person group learning opportunities take place at one of our Family Resource Centres or in designated spaces in the community (i.e., parks and green spaces) and vary in weekly duration.

HOW TO ACCESS

Caregivers can register their children directly from our website based on program availability.

Upon registration, caregivers will be contacted by a member of the Frontrunners Team to confirm information and to discuss items on the waiver (i.e., designated persons for pickup, emergency contact information, allergies, etc.).

If you have additional questions or are having trouble registering online, please call our Administrative Team at 403.205.5178 (NE) or 403.288.1446 (SE).

All our supports are available year-round. It is never too late, or too early to ask for help.
