Early Learning Across Cultures
The Early Learning Across Cultures (ELAC) program incorporates cultural traditions, customs, and celebrations and assists newcomer families with resources for their families.
Family Life Education
Parent education classes to promote optimal child development and build confidence in parenting skills and relationships either virtually or in the NE, SE, or NW of Calgary.
Frontrunners
Frontrunners offers programming for 8-14 year old youth to come together and engage in fun activities that promote social connections, physical literacy, problem-solving, emotional regulation and leadership skills.
Fathering for the Future
Through various program components, including one-to-one coaching and group education, fathers can learn skills and truly recognize their important role in their children’s lives.
Family Resilience
Home Visitation services for families seeking parenting education and support to understand their child’s developmental stages, increase caregiver capacity, and strengthen social connections in the community.
Keys to Resilience
The Keys to Resilience team provides programming for caregivers to join in play and learning with their children and build community connections.
Perinatal Mental Health
Support for new parents through their postpartum journey which can include challenges with depression, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, guilt, isolation, and the stigma associated with struggling with your mental health.
Successful Young Parents
In-home parenting support for young families with at least one parent 23 years of age or under. Successful Young Parents offers parenting education and support to increase caregiver capacity and resiliency.
Professional Development
Professional learning opportunities that support work in the parenting and social services sector. Delivered by Families and Matter and guest external providers in the community.
