‘Keys to Resilience’ Family Support Worker

Permanent, Full Time Position – 35 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate and committed professional to join our organization as a Family Support Worker with our Keys to Resilience Program, which operates out of our northeast and southeast Family Centres in Calgary.  The purpose of this role is to provide centre-based individual and group support to families with children, newborn to age six, to promote healthy child development, build caregiver capacity and family resilience, and strengthen community connections.  This role facilitates child-focused group programs that uses engaging and fun activities to support parental learning around their child’s development, as well as supporting the families on a brief 1-1 basis to find additional supports when needed.

Successful Young Parents Program (parents 16-23).

Volunteers in this program would be working in our creative child learning and play centers playing with children while their parents take part in educational offerings to build their family resiliency. Bingo and Casino Volunteers

We are currently seeking volunteers for a monthly bingo at Five Star Bingo. The shift is the last Wednesday of each month and runs from 4:30 – 9:30.  NO experience is necessary and supper is included.  If you are interested in helping us raise funds for resources for our families, perhaps as a group, or with a friend, please call Corinna at 403.205.5197
