At Families Matter, we are fortunate to have volunteers who help us achieve our goals. Whether it’s helping at our monthly bingo fundraisers or cuddling a baby during a Postpartum Support Group, our volunteers are an essential part of our success. We believe that it takes a village to support one another, and our fundraising events are one way to be a part of our village. Our agency is constantly in need of more volunteers to ensure we can continue to provide the best services possible to those who access our programs.

Our bingo fundraisers are the perfect place for new volunteers to start. Our Bingo events take place on the last Wednesday of every month. Training for your position is provided on the spot, no previous experience is required. It is a fun, easy experience, and you are provided with a FREE meal to thank you for your time and effort. The revenue from our bingo fundraisers helps us purchase essential items such as laptops, office equipment, program advertising, website maintenance, office rent and other much-needed supplies.

Requirements to volunteer for our bingo events are that you must be 18+ years of age with identification and cannot consume drugs or alcohol or participate in gaming before, during or after your shift on that day.

Volunteering for Families Matter is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. You can meet new people, learn new skills, develop a sense of pride in knowing that you are contributing to your community.
