Infant Massage for Babies 0-6 Months

March 3rd – 31st (Thursdays) 10:00am – 12:00pm

Research suggests that infant massage provides various health benefits including:

  • Increased attachment between parent and baby
  • Helps baby relax and sleep
  • Positively effects infant hormones that reduce stress
  • A method to calm baby when distressed

Join us as you learn to systematically and safely massage each part of your baby. These sessions include safe massage techniques, resources/question time, as well as a coffee time to meet other babies and parents to form friendships and support. We may even sing some lullabies! Your facilitator, Natalie, is a Certified Holistic Pregnancy Massage Therapist, as well as a Hypno Birthing Childbirth Educator and Doula.

Be a Great Dad

March 3rd – April 14th (Thursdays)  6:30pm – 8:30pm

Please note: This is a 7  Session Program and you will need to attend a minimum of six classes for certificate.

A program for Dads only, led by a male facilitator. The program focuses on building your confidence by offering you a chance to learn and try out effective strategies for communication, positive discipline, and role-modeling as well as fostering self-esteem. The program will help you put the limited time you do have to good use; creating positive experiences for you and your child. What better way to learn than from other dads who share their experiences of struggle and joy along the journey.

Caring Dads

March 7th – June 27th (Mondays) 6:00pm – 8:00pm

This program helps fathers strengthen healthy relationships with their children.  Caring Dads is designed for fathers who want to change behaviours that can lead to violence or are at risk of exposing their children to abusive or neglectful behaviours. Fathers participating in the program will learn strategies to cope with frustrations, develop realistic expectations and change their perspective to better understand, and meet the needs of their children. Caring Dads means safer children. Please note: Upon registration, you will be contacted by Mike for intake for this program.

In this class we proceed on the premise that each participant makes their own determination around what works for their family. We offer communication tools that help you resolve conflict around screens for young children.

This class will be presented through an online ZOOM platform, accessible by computer or cell phone.
