Our free programming supports any family with a child/children 6 years of age and under, and resides in the NE or SE of Calgary.
Home Visitation works with the parents or caregivers as the primary client, to support them in their parenting journey.
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The Family Resilience Team offers Home Visitation services to families seeking parenting education and support to understand their child’s developmental stages, increase caregiver capacity, and strengthen social connections in the community.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
- Home Visitors provide weekly 1-hour visits in the client’s home or community.
- The average length of service is 1 year.
- Your home visitor will work with you to gain the skills and knowledge you need to be a confident and resilient parent.
HOW TO ACCESS
Self-referral or referral from another agency can be used to gain access to this program. To start the the intake process, please fill out our online Intake Form here.
Once received, an Intake Worker will connect with you via text or email to set up an appointment to complete an intake.

Clients who feel more confident as a caregiver after completing the program
All our supports are available year-round. It is never too late, or too early to ask for help. Once the intake is complete, triage occurs every week where the services that are best suited to your needs will be assessed and you will be contacted when the program is available.
