Upcoming Helping Baby Learn to Sleep, Eat and Play *NEW VENUE*
February 6 – 27, 2025 (Thursdays); 10:00am – 12:00pm
Join other parents and caregivers in this valuable and unique 4-class series of See How They Grow: Birth to One Year – Helping Baby Learn to Sleep, Eat and Play.
Throughout these sessions, discussions will be focused on promoting a child’s healthy development in the early years, from birth to age 1. Learn to understand and support your child’s development through evidence-based examples and discussions!
Some topics include:
- Providing sensitive, consistent approaches to caregiving
- Help associate positive sleep routines to calm, soothe and settle infants
- Insights on sleep environments and child-caregiver relationships
- Introducing solid foods, while following Alberta Health Services guidelines
- Promoting healthy development, early relational health and positive mealtime experiences
- Oral Health; cleaning baby’s gums and teeth, teething
- Social-emotional-cognitive and physical developmental milestones
- Incorporating serve and return interactions and play – everyday
- Healthy physical activity for lifelong fun and beefits

This class will be presented in person in Montgomery at the Children’s Cottage. Infants (ages 0-9 months) may attend this program with their caregivers. Please note there is no childcare available for these sessions.
