Upcoming Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Group
April 8 – June 24, 2025 (Tuesdays); 6:00 – 8:00pm at our Midnapore Family Development Centre.
Let’s look at the life you want to live. What behaviours are getting in the way of creating that life? What skills are missing to get you to where you need to go?
Over 12 weeks, our DBT Life Skills Groups will help you learn how to change your behaviours, emotions and thoughts that are linked to challenges in your life. They will focus on how to be more skillful in managing distress, improving interpersonal relationships, and emotional regulation through mindfulness and a DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) skilled lens.
There are 4 modules covered in our DBT Skills Groups series.
- Mindfulness
- Distress Tolerance
- Interpersonal Effectiveness
- Emotional Regulation
Certificates of Completion are no longer given out upon completion of the class. A Letter of Attendance can be sent to participants upon request.
This program will offer limited childcare. If you have natural supports for childcare, please use them first as our availability is limited to 7 children.
Registration will close on April 8, 2025, unless otherwise noted.
Please complete registration for an Adult Participant.
If more than one adult will be participating in the class, please submit a second Adult Participant registration. If you require childcare, please register for up to two Childcare Participants (0-5 years).
